BUENA VISTA SOCIAL CLUB’S LEGENDARY PIANIST:
ONE NIGHT ONLY IN SINGAPORE
Montreux Jazz Piano Competition winner Rolando Luna brings his acclaimed trío to Singapore’s historic Capitol Theatre for an extraordinary evening of Cuban jazz.
Recognised by the Montreux Jazz Artists Foundation as one of the island's most celebrated musicians, Luna spent a decade touring with the Grammy-winning Buena Vista Social Club and more than 20 years as the premier pianist for legendary vocalist Omara Portuondo. With appearances on over 200 albums worldwide, he now presents his acclaimed showcase Soy Cuba… y Más! here for the first time.
Blending the classical elegance of traditional Cuban danzón and son with the spontaneity of modern jazz improvisation, Luna delivers a captivating acoustic performance defined by rhythmic intensity, emotional depth, and breathtaking virtuosity.
